Join us on the third Thursday of each month for a very special introspective experience. Each Candlelight Aromatherapy workshop will include 90 minutes of mellow acoustic music, all levels yoga, therapeutic breathing techniques, meditation, and essential oils.
January aromatherapy features invigorating citrus, peppermint, and lavender, while our yoga practice for the evening will be Yin, an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture the calm, quiet center that is innate in all of us. It is a practice in stillness, patience, and non-reactivity. Through yin yoga, we become adept at self-care.
This is not to say the class is without challenge. Yin Poses are held for several minutes, to a degree that is safe, pain-free, and revitalizing. Aromatherapy is a wonderful compliment to the Yin practice, as the scent of oils helps to hold our concentration in the present moment. Register early, as these workshops do tend to sell out.
